Kara and I took a ride uptown on the West Side Highway and relaxed for a bit to stay out of the rain. We came across The Cloisters Museum. They weren't open, so we sat out the weather. Can't wait for Spring, so I can get back on the road.

Heike Weber Installations

Utterly amazing installations by Heike Weber. She draws with permanent markers on acrylic floor and walls – surfaces that have reached up to 600 meters squared which is like 6548.4 ft squared (I looked it up). I can’t begin to imagine how time consuming these breathtaking installations must have been. I strive to do something this amazing soon.

This place is amazing, its like 2 stops out of Manhattan on the 7 train headed towards Queens, and you can't miss it, I think it's like 45th st. Seriously everything is covered in graffiti! 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, Inc. is an outdoor art exhibit space in Long Island City, New York, considered to be the world’s premiere “graffiti Mecca,” where aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of a 200,000-square-foot factory building.

I have been making these stone charms for about 2 months now, on and off. Just about everywhere I go, someone asks me, "Can you make me one?" So I have been making them slowly for people as they ask. This little trend of stones has prompted a small business! Here are some examples of what I can make, Charms for Necklaces, bracelets, keychains, and now even Rings! These stones are said to have all kinds of healing and protecting powers.

I've been having the best luck finding all of these great pieces in the garbage. One day i found about 6 Huge painting, that are all pretty cool. About a week later I found over a dozen silk screen frames, and I found a pretty bad ass mirror the other night. Unfortunately after all of these great treasures... I haven't produced one piece of art. So I need to get on my grind. I have been doing some voice over work pretty consistently though, so that's a start. :)

I know... I have been really bad about updating this regularly... it's been a crazy April. Anyway, I took this photo last night at Bryant Park in mid town. Those people we're so in love, they didn't even know they made my photo that much better. Good place to ease the mind at night.

These photo's are more interesting than they look. Mostly because of the story behind them. I took them both in the same day, and within probably 4 hours of each other, at different locations... but I didn't realize it until I got home and was looking through my photo's that I had a Nude male, and Nude female... I thought that was pretty neat!

Official DAY #1 of The Master Cleanse!

So today is the first day of my "Lemonade Diet" Master Cleanse. To prepare for this i took two days to just Eat Fruits, Vegetables, and Vegetable Soups, I also drank Water and Tea throughout the day. I thought I was going to go insane by the end of my first day, and it became more of a challenge between my body and mind, to see who really was stronger. Now when I was bodybuilding, it took immense dedication, and focus, and I had a clear objective of where I wanted to go, and what I was doing. And I got there... But ever since I gave up bodybuilding, I have been battling with my will power, and also dedication. This Master Cleanse started out to be a good detox for me, and also a benefit of some weight loss. But I've left that in the past now, and it's so much more obvious that it's going to be a challenge to my Strength, and my complete will power, to have full control of myself; I think we forget that we have full control at all times. Anyway so I made my "Lemonade" which is very simple, and this drink taste's soo good! It reminds me of like a Lemongrass soup from a Thai Restaurant! Except, in a drink form. I'm about an hour in, and so far so good.

So today was another awesome day! Kara and I walked around on 125th to see all the vendors, and get some sunshine... We usually stop into this rastafarian place to grab some food, and they we're selling moringa herbs, which I think everyone should look into... this herb mixed with some ginger, and agave nector, was an awesome juice! The above photo of "Southern Fried Chicken" is a spot on 125th... I thought their sign was really fly. After our walk, we went downtown to a rooftop party! Mamosa's and Pita, Hummus, and Fruits and Veggies... it was a great afternoon. Later we walked some more on 14th st. Then went out to one of Forrest's parties... The summer is coming. Living in NY has it's endless perks, like for instance I was able to meet up with two different directors in the city yesterday in a hour's time span, because of the convenience of public transportation... along with the endless amounts of places to sit and chat over a cup of coffee; That's just to name a few. To the flip side, being in the city, it can feel like time is flying by so fast, and if you're not doing something to move forward EVERY DAY, then you've wasted, another day... these days add up. Anyway, bringing me to this photo. After I met with Shawn, and Mahesh, I needed to explore... walk around and see some new environment... so I walked East. I got all the way to the East side of Manhattan, and was privileged with this sight. I had to force myself to stay, and clear my mind for 15min! Im so used to the mindset of go, go, go... This was a great breathe of reality to set my mind back to neutral. Keep em' coming beautiful NY weather!

So yesterday I couldn't take it anymore... Ever since I moved to the city, I haven't bought any art supplies, nor have I brought much from ohio. So I needed to get out of the house and get some! Spent $60.00 which isn't to bad, because I wanted to spend about $300.00 haha. It's nuts how expensive supplies are... but I needed this. I had the pleasure of moving that brush around with my own intentions, my own feelings, and my own design, and came up with this. Nothing crazy, not to technical, but it signifies how i was feeling, which i like. I feel like with this piece its alot easier to attach emotion. Hope you enjoy, if you don't... say why.

I saw this at Urban Outfitters as a painting, and thought it was so cool- looking. This is my adaptation of the piece, (original artist unknown). This piece I used "Prismacolor cool grey color" markers. These are great for making black and white pieces with marker. Hope you enjoy!

I drew this last night on the train. It's pretty difficult to draw on the train because of the bumpy ride... so it looks more like a scribble. This really doesn't have any meaning to me, it started out as a necklace, then a sewer drain, and then Boom... Buck Shot, hahah. Because I was so concentrated on the drawing, I left my Thai food leftovers on the platform! I was really looking forward to the late night snack. Let's hope someone who needed it more than I did, found it.

Another oldie. I drew this back in 2006 i think. It has some inspiration from one of my tattoo's, along with some other elements that remind me of my back injury from a car accident The night of Prom 2004. It's really crazy how things happen, and slowly alter the life that we are living. Kind of reminds me of the movie "The Matrix. I'll definitely have to watch that one again.
